​Enabled currently serves in 380 villages and impacts a population of 1.5 million.

In every village, Enabled seeks to identify and train at least one effective community health worker. Our team now includes nearly 500 trained health workers who provide basic health care, health education and referrals to partner hospitals for people with serious illness.

 

But there are many physical needs yet unmet. Demand to expand this work is on our doorstep daily. There is immediate potential to develop the work by steadily increasing the size of the team, training and resourcing more staff and health workers, and continuing to introduce and establish disability support to remote communities.
